Welcome to karen-coffee. Karen coffee was born in 2016 to help the livelihood of Karen ethnic groups in Myanmar.  Coffee was brought to Than Daung Gyi, Karen State by Missionary many years ago.  Therefore, It will be so true to say that Coffee was born in Karen state for Myanmar coffee history. 
Today Robusta coffee was mainly grown in Than Daung Gyi, Karen state only and Arabica was very limited.  Karen ethnic people maintain Karen land as organic area to avoid Chemical exposure. 
Our suppliers are cluster groups of small scale farmers from ethnic area of Myanmar, and groups of farmer who return from Refugee camp near Thai-Myanmar Border.  They were trained by NGOs for their livelihood development and farming capacity.
